I’m 82, going on 83, years old. I was born into a military family and learned what it means to serve one’s country. I followed my parents around the world; went to eight or nine elementary schools and three high schools. I joined the Air Force right out of high school. I served eight years, with an assignment in Vietnam. My wife is a retired Army Major with an assignment in Desert Storm. We understand what it means to serve. And we know that it’s like to serve in a combat zone. So, for a coward and a draft dodger to be elected as president and then proceed to rip this country to shreds with illegal tariffs and wars, well, it pisses me off. It pisses both of us off.
I’m pissed off at the MAGA fools who believed a liar and attacked the Capital building, killing a police officer and wounding several others. The same fools who voted for the most obscene president to ever serve, three times!
Trump has proven himself, over and over again, as unqualified to be in his position. But, because his Cult kept voting against their own interest, they have managed to put Trump in yet again.
Every single day, there is something in the news about Trump fucking something else up. It’s relentless. Deliberately. It’s overwhelming. And at my age, I just don’t need this shit anymore. I may not ever make another post, but I will continue to support anyone who supports our country and it’s democracy with donations and protests.
My biggest question is why? Why would anyone continue to support a cowardly warmonger and sexual predator?
Worse yet, Donald Trump admitted to the world that he doesn’t give a shit about anybody: While speaking at Las Vegas, Nevada, campaign rally on June 9, 2024, in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit, he stated, “I don’t care about you. I just want your vote, I don’t care.” This is one simple statement lets you know what kind of person Trump is.
Of course, he doesn’t care. He’ll dream up some “serious crisis” somewhere or for something, so he can interfere in the upcoming elections. Think he won’t do that. Think January 6.
