Just like most of the Republicans in Congress that have sold their souls to the Orange Coward, it appears Admiral Cooper has done the same thing. He seems to have forgotten that he serves the will of the people, not a single individual, and that he is REQUIRED by oath to support the Constitution, the voice of the people.
This war (you can’t call it any other name – it is a war) was not approved by Congress – the only government body permitted under the Constitution. Thus, this is an illegal war and this man should be telling Trump NO! Worse, he was incredibly rude to members of Congress – even REFUSING to even agree with parts of the UCMJ and the Constitution. He should not be supporting a crazy, demented president who hasn’t got a clue. Trump has completely disrupted world trade practices that has alienated our allies and encourage those we should fear. He has gutted agencies like the VA that has had huge problems for those who served and protected all of us. He has fired anyone in a position of power that don’t agree with him and replaced them with sycophants or, as I like to call them, sucophants.
When a member of Congress ask a senior officer a question, that Congressperson expects a clear, concise, accurate answer, not a bunch of BS. Cooper should be reminded of this.
